Caregiver / Home Care Aide Role Overview

Our Caregivers, Home Care Aides, and Personal Care Assistants provide non-medical home care services that help clients maintain dignity, safety, and independence.

This is a non-medical position. Caregivers do not perform skilled nursing or clinical tasks.

Responsibilities (Non-Medical)

  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
  • Companionship and supervision
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Non-medical medication reminders only
  • Transportation and errands
  • Memory support for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s
  • Observing and reporting changes or concerns to agency leadership
  • Following individualized care plans

Qualifications

  • 18 years or older
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional
  • Ability to pass background and abuse registry checks
  • Ability to complete pre-employment screening requirements
  • Willing to complete onboarding and required training
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record for applicable assignments
  • Caregiving experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • RN-guided oversight
  • Ongoing communication and support from leadership

We offer:

  • Full-Time positions (benefits eligible after 90 days)

  • PRN / On-Call opportunities
  • Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
